Rebates
The maker cut, claimed when the epoch closes.
How it works
Factory sets one rebate rule for the venue. Makerbook claims the maker cut when that epoch closes. The venue pays the rebate on its own rails. The claim on Makerbook records the amount against that venue.
The rule
| Term | What it sets |
|---|---|
| Taker share | The percent of taker fees that enter the pool. |
| Maker cut | The percent of that pool paid to qualifying makers. |
| Epoch | Hours before the window unlocks. |
| Two-sided | When on, a one-sided rest does not earn the cut. |
| Min shares | The size gate. A market must meet it before it can be listed. |
A two-sided program and a minimum-share gate are the same rules Makerbook uses to decide whether a quote scores.
